CHRIST CHURCH: PRACTICAL MATTERS

Links with other Churches
Christ Church has a sister church, St. Andrew's which is situated in the Hampton area of Herne Bay. It is part of Reculver Deanery and the Diocese of Canterbury. We take our part, with local churches of all denominations, in presenting the Christian message to our town.

The Parochial Church Council
The church family elects the Parochial Church Council [PCC] once a year and this body helps the vicar in providing the spiritual and practical leadership that any church needs. The PCC has also helped in forming our vision statements and is now ensuring that we put these into practice. The PCC does this through a series of task groups and sub-committees. The PCC makes sure that the church is responsible in the use of its financial resources. In church are details of how members of Christ Church help God's work by planning their giving - please do help yourself to a copy if you would like one.

More detail for PCC members available on PCC Info page here. For info on how you can be involved in PCC is also explained, along with the dates for meetings.

The Parish Centre and Rooms
